It's not uncommon now for big companies to hire people just to read your emails. Isn't this some sort of breach of your rights? Well you might have though so but what you do and write on your computer at work is actually the property of that company so some argue they have every right. While it's general considered acceptable to use your work email for limited personal use, abuse of this can have serious consequences. There is also the problem with confidential information getting leaked in the form of emails. It's a fine line this one and you can argue both sides here. I do find it disturbing though that there are people who potentially could be reading everything I write, as innocent as it maybe.
